The Edcamp Foundation believes in supporting the ongoing growth and learning of educators in order to improve educational outcomes for children. One of the ways we do this is through our Impact Grant program. Each year, with funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Edcamp Foundation awards a total of $100,000 to educators who have attended an Edcamp and are interested in implementing what they learned during an Edcamp session.
Starting July 2017, as part of the Urban Initiative, the Edcamp Foundation will award two hundred $500 USD grants to eligible educators across the United States who teach in under-resourced schools struggling retain good teachers and enhace student learning. Our goal is to promote equity in classrooms and demonstrate the positive impact the Edcamp model has on teachers, students, and schools.
We will also be awarding grants to other teachers in Title 1 schools and members of the Edcamp community.
The grants are read and evaluated by a team of Edcamp organizers.
